A lot of people believe that police officers are the most ethical and professional people and that their actions and words make it all worth it if they are doing their job. I’m not saying that police officers should act otherwise. I’m saying that police officers should act in a manner that makes everyone around them more likely to be a good person. For instance, officers must always be aware that by doing their job they are putting innocent civilians in danger. If they do not always show their full moral judgment and conscience, then the public will know it.
