Bob taft senior is a former schoolteacher who has since become a very powerful Visionary. That’s how he killed his parents, using a telepathic technique that he calls “the mind-link”. His ultimate goal is to merge his mind with the minds of his Visionaries so that they can turn the world into a sort of super-prison to do his bidding.
Bob taft senior has a very specific vision for the future of the world. Its goal is to have the world in a state of complete chaos, so that he can begin a new age, where he can rule the world. This seems to be a direct attempt to start a war with Earth’s population, and that’s why Bob taft senior is so dangerous and wanted by the government.
