I love this staub steamer. It’s one of those things that you just can’t not have. For a moment, you don’t have to worry about your home being damp, not having hot water, or not being able to make a meal from scratch.
The staub steamer comes in two flavors: water and oil. The oil flavor is not something you get with water, it is something you get in a staub steamer. Oil flavors are very cool and give you a cool, refreshing flavor.
The staub steamer is a water-based steamer that will make your water a bit more manageable. The downside is that the steamer will make all the water inside you a bit more muddy. In the best case scenario you can just grab a sponge and scrub off the stains. The worst case scenario is that you are stuck with a moldy, dirty water that you literally cant clean up.
I don’t say that this steamer is perfect. There is a part of the steamer where your water is all murky and you have to scrub the top of the steamer to get the water to be clear, plus you have to clean up your stinky, muddy water with the sponge.

It works very well. However, if you need to scrape the top of the steamer, you can use a sponge. The sponge is good for cleaning the front face of the steamer from the bottom of the steamer. If a moldy, dirty water is still present, go ahead and scrape it. In extreme cases you can use a sponge in your car with the windshield peeled off and water is still present.
You can use either of these methods to clean the bottom of a steamer. I always keep a sponge in my trunk and just rub it in and then a sponge in the bottom of my car. Then either I get a scrubbing scrub or a quick wipe down with a rag.
If you have the time, it’s easier to use a sponge to clean the front face of the steamer, but if you have the space, you can use a sponge in your car. You can use the same method of cleaning the front face of a steamer or car, but you’ll probably need a bit more elbow grease.
I have found this method to be very effective at cleaning the back face of my steamer. The sponge is quite effective at cleaning the edges of the steamer and the bottom of the steamer, but I have found that the back face of the steamer is easier to scrub than the front. I use a sponge here as well, but I prefer to use a rag to get my sponge to work.
