For instance, when you’re driving and are trying to figure out how to turn right on a red light, or you just keep on driving along at a constant speed. When these lapses occur, we can be in a state of “auto-motivation.” Because we’re not actually following the “rules” of driving.
People who are able to do this are called “self-aware” people. They are able to make decisions based on their own self-awareness. This is like when you are driving, you will actually notice your own actions and reactions. If you keep on driving straight as you’re driving, you will see how you are doing. If you keep on driving in the same direction as you’re driving, you’ll see how you are doing.
