I was just going to tell you to stay away from the new game because its not that good and there are a couple of things that are wrong with it, but I figured I would just mention it anyway. In the game you’ll find a stylist that you can hire to give you a good haircut, but I couldn’t really find a good example of it. The stylist in question has the ability to “hack” your own hair.
I don’t know the name of the stylist, but I have found myself in a similar situation where I was trying to get a haircut and the stylist has a haitian accent. I didnt like the haircut, but I had no idea that it was a haitian accent.
In Deathloop you start off as a hacker, and then you get your haircut. It is a very cool idea, and if executed properly it can be a very useful skill. It’s also a fairly subtle tactic, so you can get around it pretty much by just saying “no” to a client asking for a haircut.
In Deathloop’s current scenario, the stylist is the guy who got his hair done by the owner of a party island. The hair will be dyed, but by some magic, the stylist will take it off and put it back in the salon.
Deathloop is the first game I’ve played where I feel like I’ve heard a voice before. It’s different from any voice I’ve known before, but it’s definitely something I can identify with.
The stylist is definitely the one you should ask to do the haircut, as he’s the one who gets to choose the color and style. He’s also the one who gets to sit in on the consultation and get a feel for what kind of hair he wants.
