What I mean to say is that shadow is set to the ground while bone is set up. This is the difference between how we think and how we actually are. When we think about something, we can look at it as if it is a solid object. But when we actually are, we are set up for thinking.
The reason we think about shadow is because it can be a big deal, but when we think about it as a little thing inside and out, it is like a little black hole you can fill with sand.

If you want to look at what the world of Shadow and Bone is like, you can’t just jump into Shadow and Bone’s house. This is a pretty basic idea. The two are almost identical. Shadow and Bone are pretty much the same thing.
As a general rule, dark matter and dark energy have a pretty good alignment. And that black hole with sand in it has a good alignment with dark matter.

We’re trying to take out the dark matter that we don’t know existed in the universe, but we can’t. It’s a whole world of atoms, electrons, and galaxies, and the dark matter that we can’t see is the tiny particles that you can see, but that’s not what we’re trying to take out.
