A lot of our thoughts and actions are on autopilot. The more I try to think about it, the more I become frustrated. I don’t know what I would use other people’s food (hint: there’s a pizza cart in town), but I know I wouldn’t be too happy with my own food if I didn’t have to think about it.
The fact is that so many of our thoughts and actions are on autopilot. We can’t actually stop and think about it. We just have to get through the day. To paraphrase the late Dali, “the more things change, the more they stay the same.
This is why we’re all so busy making and doing shit. Because even if we do stop and think about it, we won’t have time. As a result we often stop and do the wrong thing. For example, in the world of video games, if you want to play a game, you have to first stop to consider what you want to do, how you want to act, and what your goals are.
When we do think about doing something, we make it seem like it should be a quick, easy thing. But because we’re not aware of our own thoughts, it usually ends up being a slow, agonizing thing.
We’re not usually aware of our own thoughts, but we can often be aware of the thoughts of others so we are able to make good judgments about what to do. In fact, the only time we don’t know what we are thinking is when we are playing video games and we haven’t had a chance to think about what we want to do yet.
This is a good example of where the “what if” questions can be used. We can think of a game as if it was a hypothetical situation where we could be, say, flying down a mountain. We could ask ourselves, “What if I took a different route?” If we did this, we’d be taking a very different route.
This is a good example of when the what if questions are useless, because in real life we don’t actually need to know the answer to what we are doing. We can get lost in a video game if we don’t know the answer to what we are doing. It’s also interesting to note that video games are like the very first time you play them. They have so much replay value that it’s easy to just play through the same game over and over.
If we were on the other side of the road, we would have been a lot more careful about how we were handling the situation. We didn’t think we were going to be able to prevent a massive drop in your speed; we just thought, “Oh good, I’ll just run this out before I’m done.
We were actually trying to get the game to load faster so we didn’t get an error message.
Sometimes, when people play games, they want it to be faster. If you want your game to load faster, you need to be in a hurry. In the same way, if you want your game to be more challenging you need to be in a hurry. We were actually looking at the game as being a game of speed versus challenge. We were trying to run a game while still allowing you to make mistakes.
